I don't know if anyone can help me here..... Prior to getting into the game, I join our vent channel. The problem is I can't change back and forth from vent to the game. I have to get right out of the game to make any changes on vent. I have tried the start button at the bottem...it does not work. Any suggestions?

One way of doing this is with TSDisp (also works for Vent, as VentDisp). You can get it at http://tsdisp.sourceforge.net/

It lets you see who is talking and also lets you switch channels without resizing your screen or leaving the game.

I haven't used this in awhile because you have to run your game in windowed mode, and I like to run my game full-screen. But it's a minimal trade-off.

under options, might be multiplayer options, somwhere, maybe grapics, or video,

you can choose to run the game in a window. set your game to run at the same size as your screen res. it will fill up the screen, and you can manipulate your cheats, er, um, vent, from behind or whatever.

i think what your talking about t/a is -radiation had posted a dl of the u/o minimizer,where your able to hit control z and you could go online etc... while still in game.its how im able to switch channels and what not during gameplay.its in a post here somwhere.or goto cod files.com or pm radiation.

Can this be used while in full screen MyWifeMules? Poor Steel spent alot of time helping me last night...then we figured out that the only way I can use the first one is I use the minimal screen. When I game I like it in full screen mode.

When you are ingame press the keys to minimize (mine are shift-Z), it takes you to your desktop (but your still in game), from there you can do anything you want on your computer as usual.

To return to game (maximize) (mine are shift-ctrl-Z) and thats it your right back where you were, I suggest doing it in spectator mode though.

All this techie stuff I say fiddlesticks... just play in windowed mode. Select in "Graphics" options under "Options" from the main menu. Then you can do whatever you want via normal windows keystrokes! Only trade off I see is a hit to performance, I loose about 10% of my fps when playing in windowed mode rather than full screen, but I have a rickety old graphics card...

It goes without saying....You are no help at all....LOL I have been playing on full screen for the last 3 years and when I put it in the windowed mode ... it just does not work right. Steel helped me go through all that yesterday, I guess I have a crappy graphics card too...OUCH. Anyways... I have to get the IBM back and running so I can use my computer instead of Dave's.

It's nice to be able to have the option to change vent channels when you're in a match/scrim, without having to get out of the game. For me the problem is.. when 3 people are all gaming on computers and all are on vent, the mic goes out. So it would be easier just to reboot my vent then to get out of everything and then get back in.

Oops..... I miss spoke, I don't have that version of game minimizer I have this ONE but from reading the info on the one I linked to previously it looks better than the one i'm using now so i'll probally install that.

Just for the record, I installed the first game minimizer at callofduty. filefront CLICK HERE an found it had bugs.

So I uninstalled it and reinstalled my original game minimizer, this ONE
and it works fine.

So needless to say .................. .............sorry if you installed it and had bugs too.

I just saved the first one to my desk top...I can just throw it away and install the old one.
