I am probably the newest member of MOB. The new MOB. If there is clan drama you name, I've seen it all before.

But dude, keeping and old site active for a year, listing servers you don't host and vent you don't manage is pretty close to the top of my list of weird dramas.

I've read all of your posts regarding the drama, or at least as much as I could handle and to tell you the truth I felt sorry for you. Everybody left and they are doing great - that hurts I am sure, but you have to let it go.

A couple of people from old clans I was in already asked me what's with that old weird dead site, so here I am.

Please tell me why are you doing this, why are you keeping this site up and misleading people that you have anything to do with the new and improved (as you call it) MOB clan? You need attention? You want people to hear what you have to say about the drama? You want to hurt the new MOB by misleading the players looking for MOB's site - like the post from the ESAW player? What is it?

As I mentioned I am the newest member of MOB so in a way I am probably one of the reasons you keep this site up - the way I see it. You probably want to me to know (as a new member) what happened, how this guy is this because he did this and that guy is that because he did that, right?

You know what - I don't give a damn what happened before and nobody should. It is just a game - have fun playing it with people you like and move on when the fun stops. It is not a rocket science mate...

Well here are a few questions for you, let's see if your man enough to answer them.
1) The whole reason the website was moved was for completely bogus reasons, mainly based upon lies about me. So you explain to me big boy how that is my fault?
2) If someone is playing on your server which is running a message telling people to go to www.pussy-whipped.com and they come here by mistake? How is that my fault?
3) You come here to complain about me keeping the site up, calling it the weirdest drama you ever seen. I guess that means your some kind of expert on it. So let me ask you Mr. expert, how does your "drama meter" rank 3 admins making up a stupid story about some phantom unstoppable download being the reason they banned someone from the forum instead of being upfront an honest enough to ban them because they didn't want the person on the forum for whatever petty reason? Oh wait, I forgot, you don't know what I'm talking about because you didn't bother to read this before you decide to comment on it. No problem, I've always found uninformed opinions to be a great source of entertainment.
4) You call it weird that I would keep the site open. What do you call people so petty they would rather leave multiple typo's in their list of server rules just because I'm the one who pointed them out over a year ago. I'm curious whats your opinion of that?
5) You complain about me keeping this site up, implying it pointless but then take the time to sign up an post how it doesn't matter. Do you know the definition of the word "irony", how about plain fucking stupid, is that easy enough for you?

Yes the only reason I keep this site up is because my little feelings were hurt, but I'm starting to feel much better because MOB's newest member devnull feels sorry for me. Because of DevNull's sincerity an sympathy I'm going to take the site down, leaving only a redirect to the new site. I feel much better now.

As you said yourself, you didn't really bother reading all of this so please don't make a fool of yourself commenting on my reasons. If you had actually bothered to read this you would have seen multiple times I've said this had little to do with MOB in general or the majority of the people in it. I've been very clear from start to finish about who and what this is about. Once again, replies like yours have made it sufficiently clear not a single person has the balls to directly comment on any of the issues I've brought up.

As for your suggestion MOB is doing great since it left, then I guess you have a funny definition of great.
People are still bullied by the admins.
People are still lied to by the admins.
174 player slots on your servers an only 30-40 playing at best at any given time.
The only new server showing any success was based in large part on two people idling in in 24hrs a day to falsely inflate the server ranking which they then bragged about because MOB have nothing else to celebrate. The same server which now shows a steady decline exactly like I predicted it would because idling in the server 24/7 can only help for so long.
As always the completely predictable response will be. Wait for it.... Wait for it..... On the count of one.

My point all along has been MOB use to be about a lot more than the ladder. Speaking of the ladders, why is it MOB only competes on the smaller team ladders now? Is it maybe because MOB has a slowly shrinking group of A-Team players? Maybe for the exact same reasons I pointed out over half a year ago?

Me on the other hand, I think it shows a steady decline. Most problems are directly attributed to dozens of poor decisions by the current leadership. One of them at least has an excuse, it's because they're constantly irritated by the sand permanently stuck up their vagina while at the same time suffering from a terrible case of penis envy. One final question for you Mr DevNull. Whats your opinion of an admin who in 1 topic
Wrongly insults other clan members.
Then lies about what happened.
Then attempts to threaten an bully the same clan members.
Then deletes the topic after someone points out she was wrong.
Care to comment on that? No, I didn't think so. Why should you when no one else in MOB had the balls to say anything. This recently happen on your own forum, if you don't care enough to complain about it, then why would you waste your time to complain about what is said here? More importantly why should anyone care?

You didn't answer at all, just complained that according to you there are bad people in the new MOB. I still don't think this is your problem. Even if the forum is hacked every day and the servers have to be restarted every hour I don't think anybody is coming back your way any time soon - this is my impression of the team I am part of now.

As far as I am concerned, you can keep this site up if that makes you happy, but I was expecting to see a reasonable person behind this drama. If you want to tell the world what happened why don't you replace your site with a page that explains it all in 3 paragraphs - This is MOB original site, all players left for whatever reason when I think they made wrong choice blah blah etc etc... It will accomplish more than keeping this site up in my opinion.

So, yes, this is definitely top 5 in my list, but I've seen bigger drama. Don't get me wrong, I don't think you are a bad person, you are probably still missing the players badly and that is the reason behind all this, but you have to let it go. Good or bad reasons behind the drama it is over...

I think some of the older school gamers and understand why this still up. I haven't read the last few posts yet so my bad if i skip over something but it's nice to remember way back when people were actually having fun while gaming.

BTW concerning your bellyaching over the server and vent status. It's the same as it was a year ago besides removing the dead servers. Not my fault your admins decided to move the site mostly based on lies about me as their excuse. So you tell me, why should I bother to change it? Care to say who these phantom people are that belong to former clans you use to be a member of that supposedly asked you about this site. Not that it really matters, just curious to know it it really happened or if you were simply making shit up. Maybe I'm wrong but it just seemed like a stupid excuse for your post. If you were just making shit up to try an back your point, then I've got good news for you. You are undoubtedly on the fast track to being the next MOB admin.

Let's get this straight. Some noob chooses the warped name of "devnull" and joins MOB. He quickly finds the action on the servers so lacking that he drifts over to the original site where he tries to get a rise out of Robert.

The wise and illustrious devnull admits that none of his "friends" from other clans can read, or follow links, so instead, they bow before the all knowing-devnull and ask the newb why the original site remains in place. Obviously, if not for the proper education of the ignorant, devnull would be busy with his newfound clan, but instead, he seeks to:

a ) educate Robert as to the proper timing for dispensing of an empty forum
b ) gain further knowledge and insight to share with his ignorant and fearful former clanmates
c ) resolve conflict through debasement

I'm so glad there are helpful, smart folks out there like the wondrous devnull. Someone as helpful as this should really not be a noob in a clan, they should be promoted to All-Knowing-Leader!

Perhaps devnull neglected to notice that he posted his comment in an empty forum with only Robert casting about. That must be why this very thread has been viewed over 2,000 times. Must just be Robert clicking and clicking and clicking again on the header topic wishing and praying that some day, someone else might drift back onto the empty forum.

Come to think of it, I'm sure that Robert probably just signs on as former members and makes it appear that folks from the original clan still stop by to keep in touch with their old friends. Obviously, no one uses the messaging function of this site anymore. I mean, why on earth would old friends want to keep in touch when they could simply go to devnull and have him answer all their questions? Heck, there would be no need for friends once devnull is on the scene.

uhm, true, there is certain value to keep the history of the clan alive Triggerhappy (the only reasonable response I got), so keep this site up if you feel like it, but I can't find any other good reasons other than that and all of you still being mad at the half that left. You even keep their names in the roster?!

Anyway, I see no reasons also to argue with all of you as this place is like a kindergarten where kids state their opinion without being asked for it, and more importantly opinions that do not contain signal, but just noise and personal attacks.

I was expecting more mature and less emotional responses, to be honest!

I am sorry if I angered you in any way, that was not what I wanted to do. So, yes I do not intend to visit and post on this forum again in a foreseeable future as I found what I was looking for.

sucks that it happened this way....but not surprising. at the tail end of my stay, there were some folks dripping in that i didn't much care for and were the reason i felt it was my time to go.....but there was a day that this ole clan was funnier than shit and we had a blast kicking fuckers asses. i dont recognize most here and dont really care about all that...but druid and reel and stock i remember and i hope you guys are well.

hats off to you fellas with whatever it is that you do now. it's good this place still runs so folks might know there was once something real and not so damn 'gamer' which, by the way, is teh suck.
wish i had the time to upload whatever game's being played and start the march like i once enjoyed with MODAA. but i've got a 5 handicap to keep up and it's a great addiction not to mention 3 kids and a wife who actually wants me to talk to her.
