Mona,
Good guess but no.    If you know anything about Texas you know the
west is vast and I born and bred  (or should it be "bred and born") more in
what is know as the Heart of Texas.   Yes, a real Texan not just a yankee
import like so many nowdays. They drive me nuts.    How about you?

As for fighting, well shoot, I have lots to learn.  But WTH it's fun.

Isn't the "Heart of Texas" Brady? I've hunted dove there many times. Had a few romantic moments on the banks of the Guadalupe also.

Well now Mona sounds like you know your way around. But Texas
has a "Big Heart" so just expand your landscape to enclude places
like Pontotoc, Fredonia, Cherokee, and a little bit north and south.
Ya know, like toward Austin.

So a girl like you likes to hunt dove...well, well. Do you like to eat
them also? And romance; there are many romantic cowboys in the
area.

Oh yea, I eat what I kill. Gathered around the campfire, with my family and friends, a strip of bacon and a jalapeno pepper, makes a tasty meal (if you eat about 12, a daily limit). Of course, many Coors Lights really make the meal a winner. I clean my own dove kill too. Do you hunt?

I hate to sound like such a brute, killing poor animals, ripping them apart for their flesh, and then enjoying a ceremony of self-gratification and indulgence under the starlit night skys of North Texas, the Milky Way so bright, but that's how I was raised. I stopped wearing a boot knife long ago, really!

Now Monie honey, you don't sound like a brute to me and no need to
be politically correct with me: Hey now, we know what we are! The
scene you described of being around the campfire after the hunt under
the mystic Texas starlit sky is one I have forever engrave in my heart.
I have been there many times and love everything about it.

As a reminder: Never stand downwind from what you are plucking!

I don't pluck them; I rip them apart in a most efficient but yet disgusting way. Sometimes, I feel sorry for them, the animals that I kill, until a drop of their warm blood falls on my boot. Then the hunt is on! El Deguello!

I'm trying to present a more pleasant image here, however. Have you ever climbed Enchanted Rock? It's near where you're from, outside of Fredericksburg. I enjoyed going there; it's a State Park.

Now, I've been part of a lot of these dove hunts, and to my memory, Mona hasn't plucked or ripped shit for a number of years. Shot them, yes. Eat them, oh yes. But the part with the cleaning in them -- yeah, right!

Oh come on, you taught me the technique. I haven't cleaned as many as you, and really, deep down it bothers me. So yea, I'd rather you do it. I'll do the gunning, you do the cleaning. HA HA!

Yes, It is great to see lots of family fun out in the hunting fields!!!!

Geezzzzeee... I will try to answer.
Have I been to E-ROCK ? Of course , who hasn't.
Have I been to Palestine? Isn't that in the Middle -East?
And I thought Bardot was from FRANCE and now you say
Illinois...OMG I need to pour myself a drink so I can think
about this. What about you? Have you been to Crawford?

Last time I was on the banks of the Guadalupe was about 6 years and I left them in handcuffs. So I try not to go back there anymore.
We're shooting our latest film on Lake Tawokoni in NE Tex starting next week!
