I would agree lots of bad has come from religion, but you have to be open to the other side of which is there has also been a lot of good done in the world because of religion.

Religion is like anything thing else, it all depends on the person.
Take guns for instance, I have one and to defend my family, I wouldn't give a second thought to using it kill someone. Where as someone else would just as quickly use a gun to kill some for whatever idiot reason.
Guns aren't the problem, like everything else it's a people problem.

i agree. i do look at the good religion has done... but everytime i study religion it just makes me vomit. my x g/f was really religious and shit and she had one of those magazine bibles with the Q & A's on every page and it was sayin shit like "you should avoid kissing until you're married" and "don't date atheists they're bad. they'll ruin your faith" no shit we will. they're not stupid, they know how to control the masses and they know their enemies too. but just everything about it, what they do with god's name nowadays and all this other bullshit, i just cant stand it. and i agree about the gun issue. like Larry the Cable Guy said, "if guns kill people then I can blame mispelled words on my pencil. Guns dont kill people, husbands that come home early do, the gun was just laying there."

Im new to this topic so I will give you all a brief first.

1. Im Catholic and actually do go to Church.
2. I do not like Bush.
3. I did like Kerry's beliefs.
4. I dont consider mylelf a conservative or a liberal but somewhere in between.

I do agree to a point with Exclusive. There are many things that this government controls and the media is one of them. You, Me and everyone in your family only sees what they want us to see for a reason. There is many pictures to the puzzles that we are missing. Weather they be good for us to see or not we are all seeing lies all the time. It is better for the masses to not know because it would turn our country upside down like other countries have. Just go to school or your 9-5 job then go home and enjoy some of the freedoms you have and like it. You have no other choice.
