This was the one that stumped me the longest
52 C in a P (W Js)
52 made me think of carss but I always wanted to say in a deck, not in a pack

The '11 soccer players' really threw me off. It should've been obvious this is most likely what 11 could be only used in, but the guy put in F [football] stupidly thinking he'd help out with a clue. In Europe football is used by itself and in globally soccer is used by itself, so by putting F and S together was not too bright.

Soccer isnt global, soccer is a american thing... in south america and stuff its Futbol... half the world is playing "soccer" and mostly they all call it football.. Don't think the word global was in place.

Weezy,

I dont think you are getting his point. When ever anyone (globally) mentiones soccer, you know what sport they are reffering to beacuse it is only meant for one sport. Yes, certain areas do not call it soccer and they may refer to it as futbol, but when soccer is said, you know what that sport is. When you mention Football now, it several countries it can mean different sports entirely. His point was that the person who wrote this should not have put the S and F together because people from different countries would not necessarily know that they mean the same sport. It is not really a good clue or hint.

Druid, how long did you spend on the test? I spent a good 45 minutes, but I think you are only supposed to spend 15. For some reason it wouldn't give me the "1000 years in a millenium" one and I even checked the answers. I also left out the apostrophe in the baker's dozen....pfft! Unless I lived in South Africa, I never would have got that one and does anyone outside of England actually play cricket?

Thanks Nothing... Exactly my point --- eloquently put smile.gif I say global too because even in the UK it's referred to as soccer more than it used to be.

Hey Isis, the spelling mucked me up too.... look how you spelt Millennium> milleNium [now you can sleep at night tongue.gif ]. Test was no time limit so it said. Most Commonwealth countries play cricket.

9 I got fast.... 8 I knew on tip of tongue or was very curious about so I searched them----many of which turned out to be pretty easy. The last bunch no clue to be found anywhere. I'm curious to see what the answers will be.
