ive downloaded vent and set it up and actually listend in on a couple of players-very cool! but my problem is this (probably a dumb one) when im in the game i cant control any thing else outside the game,the most i can do is check my process. how do you control vent when your in?
please speak common english as im computor illit.  --------------------  |

The only control needed is a push-to-talk key (I use "C"). Most of us join Vent and get into the proper channel before starting up CoD.

This is one of the problems with vent.
They are suppose to add keyboard shortcuts for switching channels in the next release. -------------------- Not a word was spoken to contradict or disagree with S@bot when he called me a....

One solution is to play COD in a window; ie, set fullscreen mode to "no. I believe the option is in options>graphics. This allows you to switch between applications using alt-tab without the huge wait as video mode changes. This si only really satisfactory if you play the game at the same resolution as you keep your desktop or the window is too big or small
