I used to be a member of their forums a long time ago. And I received this e-mail today about their mod. I think it sounds cool.
Hello Folks! Merciless Mod2 for Call of Duty 2 is Getting Ready for Action very soon! We wanted to give you a little Update what’s in store for ya! :-) Some of the new features include: - More than 100 brand new damage skins - 7 – 9 damage skins per Model - Sticky Bombs, Mobile MG42 & Mobile Cal30 - Firebombs will now explode on impact - Damage-based bullet wounds - New burn skins with smoldering after effects - Dead bodies can be shot up for those who want to let it all out - Blow up dead Enemies with grenades at your leisure - Blood puke and blood spitting when shot in the upper chest - Modified decap shot with new head splatter effects - Powerful artillery attacks leaving nothing but total disfigured corpses - An all known Features from Merciless UO Check out http://www.mercilessmod.com for Screenshots, Trailer and more Details! Stock is the way to go for twl though, and the cod2 team will be up and running in a couple days.

I watched the video clip this morning and it sucked. Not to say the mod sucks... just the little movie you can watch on the Merciless site. The firebombs and artillery sound cool, everything else is just bells and whistles. I don't stand around and shoot dead bodies nor do I watch the dying moments of my kill.

I just thought it sounded neat. And I watched the video too Pez. I agree I wouldnt stand around shooting dead bodys either.
