Does your vent cut out?, COUGH LIPTON, I got a solution Options

I was working on something for vent so that if I needed to hear something, I could just press a button and shut everyone up.
So check it out, ask me if you need anymore help with it, because I suck at computers and explaining them.

Ok so when you start up vent you've got the three drop down boxes with the arrows.

User name
Server
Bindings

So hit the little arrow to the right of "bindings" right. Then click "new"...it's the only button you can click if you don't have any. So then you name it right...mine is called "shut up". Now there are 3 drop down boxes on the right, and the top one is the one you want, the one that says FUNCTION. Select TOGGLE MUTE SOUND. Then click in the BIND KEY. I set mine to MOUSE 3...or clicking the mouse wheel, cause I rock.
Then hit ADD, then OK obviously.
Now it'll go back, and make sure you select it from your BINDINGS list.
You press dat button and it be muting folks...FOR REAL YO.

So lipton, hellfighter, i'm thinking you mute the sounds right? You connect, then you click your mouse wheel or whatever button, and the sound comes back on and vent is A-OK....Just a thought.

but i for one still like the guy. at least HE helped me on vent, and is the only one to EVER stop talking because i'm connecting .
