i was playing on my friends alienware on UO today and i was doing ALOT better than i usually do on my

laggy shit laptop. i have come to conclusion that i really am good, its just the constant lag on my laptop is

holding me back from constantly getting good scores. SOOO.......hopefully in the next couple of months i'm

going to save up and get more RAM so it runs perfect!

(sorry if this is useless information that you could care less about smile.gif )

I actually think I have the same problem. However I'm afraid to get a new PC because it might prove to be wrong, lol.

I have now have one of the fastest systems possible but have not noticed very much difference. I think scores are most dependent on the following (in order):

1) Previous experience and time spent with first shooter programs

2) Mouse type, sensitivity and user control

3) Reaction time

4) Lag to server

5) Video Speed

6) Computer Speed

7) Amount of Ram

I'd have to agree with that statement! One thing more, the amount of distractions that are present in the room with you while you are trying to play! LOL

Want to talk distraction.
Try to play while you're son his sitting on your lap, telling you where to drive the tank and who to shoot.

Not a word was spoken to contradict or disagree with S@bot when he called me a....
bully, dictator, snide, hypocrite, arrogant, smartass and lets not forget,
according to him the way I act is reprehensible.
Yet, you're going to censor my signature because it's inappropriate and might hurt his little feelings???
Sorry. don't think so

LOL @ all of above hysterical.gif ---> very funny to imagine those scenes. I guess alot of grinning and bearing it going on!
My distraction is minor in comparison to you family guys.
I set up a small table mirror next to my pc while playing so I can see what's happening on the tv behind me while I play [like Sopranos or another fave show].

Aaaaahhhhh, those are the moments to cherish, as they won't ever come around again. Unless, of course, your son is twenty-something, then it's time he got his own chair! LMAO

The computer I play on is a very fast computer. Fairly newly built and not cheaply. When I play on a friends computer I can definately tell the difference, but my scores are not much different. Yes it can improve your scores, but not much. Lets say you average 80 kills per game on Cassino, you would probably get an average of maybe 90 with a upgrade of computer. Thats what I see anyways.

i know for a fact i could rake up 80+ a round amazingly easily with an alienware (silver hopefully would agree with me...)

i think i can say i can compete with bargod with the worst computer known to gaming.
