I used to use Kazaa to download my music, but I got allot of crap on my computer from that. Since I have had my new computer, I have not downloaded Kazaa for fear of screwing up my comp. What software is best for free downloading of music?

I use Bit Torrent software to download my stuff. Try BitComet as your downloading tool and then try sites like IsoHunt. Iso Hunt is my favorite as I seem to find most of the music I'm looking for.

click on the album you want to download, it will drop another menu down... choose to download torrent. Then when the prompt comes up to save or open, choose Open. It will automatically start opening BitComet. Once you do the first time, it's easy.

I get to the point where it says open, then it crashes and says it encountered a problem and needs to send an error report.

And when I search for the songs, they dont have hardly any I am looking for. Maybe it shows the album, not the actual song.

Is there any other easier programs out there!

There's lso torrenreactor.net and for download software azureus. You can also use edonkey or emule!
I always use azureus but it's hard to get only one song usually it's the whole album!

For individual songs I use Limewire. Very similar to Kazaa, so it should be easy to figure out. For torrents I use Sharaza.

Agree. For music, Limewire's pretty good and with no spyware crap.
