We had a ton of snow here in Chicago and my new house has a long driveway and I have not purchased a snowblower yet, lol. It took me 2.5 hours to shovel the driveway alone!!! I am so friggen sore!!!!

I live in a country with a lot of snowIPB Image. I know how it must feel. Go buy you an rotary plough.

I live in North of Norway and here it's rainIPB Image, and the snow is almost away. Be happy, you can go ski-ing. And you know that the reindeer to Santa need snow.

I now how you feel. I live in the northeast and bought a 4x4 and a plow along time ago, best investment i've ever made, it sure beats the hell out of shoveling or even snow blowing.

The weather isn't bad here yet but its comming.

Ahh going to be 70 degrees tomorrow. I did however see snow one time back in '83. If you make it through a summer in Phoenix the "winters" are amazing.

If you people find snow interesting you really should visit Norway - especially where Rommel resides.....We puke snow from October to April, and if you are intereted in skiing this is really the place. To us Beaver Creek and Aspen is a summer camp.. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I have friends and family in Ariz and New Mexico and forget that crap. 120 in the summer is crap. My cousin runs a Truck Repair for Ryder and the mechanics shoes melt on the pavement if outside too long. I think I can deal with the snow in Chi town for the couple months. I think cold winters and hot summers are perfect. Too much heat or too much cold it not for me. I like it in the middle.

You're right Nothing it gets pretty freakin' hot around here in the summer months. Hard to beat the 70-75 degree days for the next 4-5 months though. The great thing too, if we want to play in the snow or ski we drive to the mountains.

I'm in Massachusetts, and luckily we get a few weeks buffer before our snow starts. We've had some milder winters the past couple years though, I can't complain at all. (Plus our landlord does the shoveling... WEWT).

Yea, these next 4 months are great for you over there. But those couple months of summer where can you drive too? Your stuck in the heat then. I guess its all in what you like. I love having snow on Christmas. Christmas is not Christmas unless its cold and snowy. Also, You dont appreciate the change in seasons as much if you dont see it. Fall is such a beautiful time of year.
