PURE CONFIG. Options

ive been getting a few people on my server that cheat, and when i try and ban them they have some kind of hack that wont let them be kicked. my question is if i was to run a pure config like you do on 1 of your servers will that keep them out. and if so where can i get that file and does it go into the mohaa/main folder of server. i do run the lastest version of CI but it will say that they are kicked for banned ip but they never leave. thanks for any help you can give me.

If you are running an AA server pure will not work...it only works with SH unfortunatly.

As far as when people are banned them not being kicked thats a new one to me, but who knows with all the crap thats out there now.

If I see BlackBart from IW I will ask him...if you are running a SH server and want to try and get pure working let me know and I will see if I can get in touch with FK who runs the SH pure server

well sadly i am running a AA server. im so damn pissed now with all the cheaters that are in mohaa, they ruin a fun game. i have posted on IW site in forum but it seams a few have had the same problem as me. thanks for responding on this.

it truly is frustrating...but if you keep kicking them eventually they get the point

thats the whole problem, it wont kick them. they have got something wrong with CI. last night i turned on the honesty mod on CI and it started kicking players out that didnt have honesty .cfg. but once they got banned by CI for being kicked 10 times when they tried to rejoin server. it then put them on the banned list and they could stay in server with out being kicked, even tho it was saying "kicked due to using banned ip". so i think there is something wrong with the banned part of CI.

That is pretty strange. We are running version 1.4.2.2, on our servers. The banning function always works properly for us. Are you sure that you dont have a setting set incorrectly?

what setting would that be. all i have done is do all the upgrades over time. ive been running CI since december of last year and never had any problems till lately. im testing with the old version 1.2.2.5 to see if that will do the trick. i know if it does work ill loose alot of features that the new versions will offer. there has been a few having the same problem as me that have posted in the IW forum. i hope they come up with a fix soon. cause im starting about moving my server to a different game. the cheating has gotten out of hand, and that sucks on my end cause i love the game but i hate the cheaters. thanks for your help.

we hate the god dam cheaters as well...dont give up on your server man, I'm sure that things will be worked out.

the more the cheaters realize that your server does not cater to their shit, they will eventually learn to stay away.

well ive been running the old version 1.2.1.5 of CI off my laptop. it does seem to be working fine when i kick and ban. but i dont have the .exe of it to put it on the other pc that i use to run CI. now im hoping i can find someone with the 1.2.1.5.exe that can send it to me, so i can install it. thanks for all your help.
