1. You accidentally enter your PIN on the microwave.
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years. 3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three. 4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you. 5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses. 6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries. 8. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen. 9. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee. 10. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't even have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go back and get it. Haaaaaa
My girlfriend is a definite #6. "I have groceries, come help!" But sometimes I can't hear the phone ring over the roar of tanks in my headphones. Then I'm in the doghouse |

Nice. I would say that I'm some what like some of those. My girl gets all mad if I leave my cell at home or in the car. I hate carrying it all the time, plus I don't have a handy purse to keep it in. I have to keep it in my jeans along with a wallet, keys, money, gum, etc. BTW, does anyone else hate the people that wear blue tooth headsets all the time? Seriously, I see people out on a date and they're wearing those things... that's a complete slap in the face(I would assume) for the other person on the date. "you're important to me, but not as important as a possible incoming call from someone that I chose not to be with right now" Idiots.

LOL Sabot,
I am #10 for sure...LOL Last weekend was a bonus for me when I had a flat tire on the Expressway and Dave was in Toronto. The funniest part is I'll be out and when I get home Dave will ask me: Did you have your cell phone and I say "Yea" and he tells me he tried to call me several times. My response is, Oh I must have forgot to turn it on...LOL. I can't even tell you the amount of times that I've said to DJ "can you run back in and grab my cell phone." Hey, btw did you see where some kids were carrying their cells in their pockets and one or two of them exploded causing a great deal of pain and damage to their legs. Yeah, something about they had possibly dropped their phones or the phones had been significantly impacted to cause the batteries to short circuit and exploded while being carried in their pockets. Just what we need, a hand grenade disguised as a phone! Be careful out there! Wouldn't want the damned things blowing off something you might need later!! |

Haaaaaa My girlfriend is a definite #6. "I have groceries, come help!" But sometimes I can't hear the phone ring over the roar of tanks in my headphones. Then I'm in the doghouse LOL As part of my job I have to be in our on-call rotation. I have a company provided cell so work can call me and I have arranged it so they call this number before my home number. Usually when I'm playing COD I have the phone set to vibrate so I will know when it rings. One night when I was on call, I was playing in the Forest (WAY past my bedtime) and I inadvertantly left my cell phone on the kitchen table. There was a problem at work and since they couldn't reach me on the cell they called my home number (didn't hear that either) and woke my wife up. She had to get out of bed and go down two flights of stairs to the office at 2:00 AM to find me. It was a week before she would elevate me to doghouse status. -------------------- ![]() War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things.
