Now we all know that during WWII America, Japan, and Great Britain were the only countries that utilized the aircraft carrier for combat operations to its full potential during this time.
But what about Nazi Germany? Why didn't Nazi Germany ever have any aircraft carriers of their own?
Take a look at the link below and be amazed at what could have been, if only Hitler had more time on his side.

Ken Burns will be airing a documentary on WWII Sept. 23 on pbs.

If its 1/2 as good as the others hes made it should make for some interesting viewing.
