Ok seems like a stupid problem - but. None of the new maps will auto download and yes i have auto download enabled. Any ideas? Is there a location on our servers where i can manually d/l the maps? Please help, my playong time had really diminished and i'm afraid if i can't get the maps to d/l i might be done. Please help me feed my UO addiction.
Thanks, Shaz |

With your game shut-down, go into your /uo folder and make a sub-folder named anything, e.g. mapsout. Now, slide everything from your /uo folder that isn't stock to the game into it.
Then try going into the server again. You've got either mods or custom maps conflicting. When you go into the server and it tries to download a map to you but won't, wait for it to time-out and give you the file that's conflicting, then slide it into your mapsout subfolder Oh, and make totally sure you have downloads turned on in the game. You may have it turned on from your main screen, but it may turn back off on you when you go into servers. So, check it when you're in the server. -------------------- [img][/img]

Yeah, those temp files in your /uo directory are maps that couldn't download to you. You always need to keep those suckers deleted out of there.
The reason I use a subfolder to stick stuff in is because I've done that thing where I was trying to delete out non-stock stuff too fast and accidentally deleted something that's a real part of the game, lol. -------------------- [img][/img]
