Cross that was an abosolutely awsome challenge..
I found myself at the end of my seat nearly broke a tooth grinding my teeth..Go baby Go... About a year ago i was at a doctors office in the waiting and i picked up a mag. While flicking throu the pages i came acrooss that very car.Started reading it ,went into see the doctor and when i came out I sat right back down and just had to finish the artical. If i remember correctly this bogatti is like no other car made in the world. The desiner insisted on a 1000 hp engine and told his design and engineering scientists to design the car around the engine.Almost an imposable feat.. with meny set backs, but they prevailed.I think the going price was low end 1 million, high end a million.2.And everything is custom made for the client body size etc..It also said the car had two keys a silver one for around town and then a gold one just in case you wish to indulge yourself at Indy 500 speeds. The rear fering did not engage untile about the speed of around 140 to keep the rear wheels on the ground..A real rocket ship of a car.At the end of the artical they even offerd a custom Cigar box with the Bugotti insignia on it if you put in an order for delivery of this car....and if you just wanted the cigar box they said it would cost you a Cool..get this about 50 grand....I think they said if you want one prepare to wait about a year for delivery..I think that wait is worth its weight in gold you wont be disapointed. Didn`t know if you knew this Mech ,but the orginal engineering team that they put the task too ,said that it couldn`t be done ,so they fired them and got in a team that said they would give it ago....Also the car has 11 (yes 11) radiators in it...... 2 or for the spoiler hydrulic fluid , 2 for the air intake and the rest just to cool the engine compartment ,also if you go into high speed you have to do some checks on the car first .......then open the drivers door and in the well of the door area is a lock ,this you have to engage in order for the spoiler to go into "race" mode......holds the car to the ground more and makes it more slip stream.
OHHHHHHHHH...................... and last year someone in the UK rented 1 of those cars and crashed it into a tree, at the time the car cost 1.6 million dollers US. Was said to be the biggest altime write off for a car insurance premium... ![]() But still what a car....... -------------------- |

... wow I am in the wrong business.. Me too. My job as a mop boy at the peep show just doesn't pay enough... I'm thinking about getting a job as a fundraiser. It doesn't pay much but there's a lot of benefits. -------------------- ![]() War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.
