ya sorry i said that when i just got back from a 15 hour ride from new jersey(was in a bad mood) and i came back to slaughter people and i couldnt, so sorry for any harshness

I personally wouldnt mind seeing one MOD TDM board, so long as Tuchula stays classic.



The only real problem I see with having all BAS and no TDM is, that the same people who were playing the MOD TDM are now playing the MOD BAS, and their "better you than me" mentality has not changed at all.

A match will start, and almost everyone heads for their opponents bases to see who can blow them up faster. The entire concept of teamwork and sacrifice for the greater good that made the "good ol" Barbarossa and Tuchula servers so much fun is nowhere to be seen.



I've actually started leaving matches because there is no teamwork, nothing to make it fun. i go wherever the MOB players are, because its no fun without your peers.



Make you a deal Penguin; when your on BAS, if were on the same team, lets tag team the rest of them, try to get that concept back into the game,ok?

I knew this would happen if we took down the TDM server. But it seems as if we have no other choice. If we want barb, we have to accept the fact that many will not play as a team. I have not had any time to get back into the game recently, I will try to get back in this week. We all need to start being leaders there. Start telling people what is needed. Train them on the basics of BAS. The more that know, the better the games will be.

I think a Foy only server will be a great windfall in bringing in a new lot of visitors/members and nullifying that empty server issue. All Foy-only servers I see are always at least half full....

There's a planes/Foy server in particularly [with Foy 2 map] is consistently popular.... and its BAS too.

I think taking a walk on the wild side is a good idea ... it worked with the mod-weapons/new maps server.....

I don't see why not. The one BAS server seems to stay full while the others are empty. At least the TDM server was full.

I agree… {MOB} needs to bring back the TDM server. I hope that I am not out of line by saying…I almost feel like I was abandoned by {MOB} when the TDM server was eliminated. I know that the big picture isn’t just about me or any other individual player; it’s about what is best for the clan. TDM was the only server that some of us ever played. I have made a lot of friends, as did some of the other [Regs]. When ever I go to my favorites I notice the new BAS server is almost always completely empty, so why not eliminate the new BAS server and put TDM back on? I have yet to find a different server strictly devoted to TDM, especially of the caliber that {MOB} use to have. Please don’t think for a second that I am questioning the decisions that are being made, my loyalty is to {MOB} and I don’t want to find a new home, especially when I like this one. It seem like a no brainier to me!

To me it does'nt really matter. TDM's not my cup of tea ...when i first discovered coduo online i played TDM. In about 3 weeks i became board of it and then found my calling in traditional STOCK MAPS BAS.Landing in MOB's stock maps server is where i learned this game,team work etc.In my eye's the best darn players around second to no one or Clan.Some times i stop by the MWS base and have a go but to me modern weapons just dose'nt have much appeal to me either. I would play traditionl Barb Bas if no one were in Stocks for sure.But it seems both Barb and stocks are dead and that bums me out because i find myself playing on a rivals stock maps server just to get my fix.Some times i even see a few of my fellow MOB friends or i should say mentors along side me tossing the opposition a spanking.You've tought me well MOB.Some day may be i'll even be able to even the score with my worst rival {MOB} Canukster..Yea right Mechanic Dream on...lol.

Anyway makes no difference to me so, I voted don't care.

Racerx, I share your pain. The clan voted to change Modern Weapons TDM into Modern Weapons Barb. The clan's demand for a Modern Weapons Barb server had been overwhelming for some time actually.

Right after the transition, there were long-time players of the server still hanging on, more hoping it would go back to TDM than of them ever growing to like base assault. I've seen the logs, some clan members jeered and made fun of them for their pain at losing their coduo home, it's been painful for me to read. Now the loyal players have gradually given up, and gone somewhere else to play I suppose.

And once the dust settled from the change to BAS? The server has become a virtual ghost town. Those who clamoured and demanded it for so long are.... are where??

This once mighty #1 worldwide server in the server rankings for over 2 years is now in meteoric freefall into oblivion, it's 40th now, with nothing slowing its inevitable demise.

I'm really sad about this and truly hurt. And to those who were loyal to the server, I deeply apologize.

I feel all your pain. Its the same thing that happened to our MW server. It was always full when it had Barb/Italy. Now I go in and wait and its dead. Most of the players moved to different servers. Probably deleted our server from their favorites or something. Really stinks! My favorite map that was always so full is now dead. Hopefully we can build it up again.
