To the membership of {MOB},

Over these last few days I have enjoyed playing on your server with you. I do not know all of you or even most of you, but you guys seem like good people to compete with. Thank you for the hospitality you have shown me. I have also noticed on your roster that you guys all fall within the same age group as our clan, which is good thing. As I was browsing the ladder and judging by dates it looks like the next match after this could very well be the big match. If only we could predict the outcome of the match now then it would be a relief. Of course that is, if we successfully win our next match against the Black Hats. They are also a good team and our last match was close.

I am sure in the past that you guys go through the same thing we do when the matches are done and the comments start to come out. What I do not want to see, and want to avoid is the two best teams in the game contributing to it. I guess thats most of the reason for posting this morning. Possibly, as I have been doing, we can show up on one anothers server to start getting to know each other. The idea does sound intresting to play a match that neither team knows how the other plays, but not sure if it will do any good for post-game comments. I do not know how many of you have Spearhead, but we would like to invite you guys to join our server and play anytime. Our server IP is 216.93.173.46. We run the MPSH 3.1 realism and a 28 client server which is really smooth most of the time. The same courtesy you have showed me the last few days our members will return to you.

Thanks,
The =C O M= Team

Catchy topic huh? Also, some humor for you. As a joke we have been saying that our name stands for: =Come On MOB=

Hopefully the match you speak of can take place. We have to clear DMG first then we will see. Thanks for the post and come by the servers anytime you can.

The only match that we have ever had a "comment" about was the first time we played the 7th Rangers....for obvious reasons.

We are often on the receiving end of allot of bullshit as I'm sure you guys are as well....how does the old saying go, 'If you cant beat them, bitch like a woman'

Look forward to getting to know your guys, and our inevitable meeting on the battle field

We both know we will be meeting up in the future and we are both looking forward to it. It's been a long time coming for both clans and only time stands in the way of us meeting for sure.

Our match date is set on the 2nd, same as you guys. Theres no doubt if everything goes our ways that we will all be having some good competition shortly after.

Trip out, I was browsing about some of the new expansion pack...Breakthrough. I see the demo is being released in three weeks. Also the full release is scheduled Sept. 22. You guys looking forward to it?

Bouncer after talking to you the other night on the server about the early days when we all played on the S4R server. I started thinking about what a huge impact playing on the S4R server had on me.
I've always had a high opinion of 75th, COM & IW because I remember playing and sometimes losing to members of each clan long before their was rampant cheating like there is now. Back then when someone played well, you left the server will a feeling of respect for them. Now with the rampant cheating, when someone plays well, you leave the server wondering if the person was cheating. It's sad when you think about it.
Most likely I wouldn't even be in MOB right now if it wasn't for Oppersion, who I also spent time playing with on S4R, asking me to join.

I hope the new expansion pack will add much needed life to AA. Then maybe in another year we can chat again about the good old days playing AA.

Not a word was spoken to contradict or disagree with S@bot when he called me a....
bully, dictator, snide, hypocrite, arrogant, smartass and lets not forget,
according to him the way I act is reprehensible.
Yet, you're going to censor my signature because it's inappropriate and might hurt his little feelings???
Sorry. don't think so

Your right, and for the most part it has killed the game. I still find myself playing everyday or every other day, but I cant play longer than a round or two and Im done. I really dont know if its because the maps just get old after a while or cheating has gotten so bad that its just not fun. I mean look at it like this, here both teams are very good teams. How often do you hear somebody accusing of cheating? Rather than being rewarded because we all play well...at times all we do is hear people bitch and whyne. Everyone wants to throw out claims based on assumptions and it just gets old I guess. There is some humor out of it though. Thats the people that talk about stuff they have no clue what it means in the first place; rumors. I have heard some funny things about technical issues or just admin issues that crack me up. I think the real problem is EA. I once read somewhere about the fact of cheating and game sales. The fact that I had read was that "cheating" sells and was statistically proven. I guess it makes sense when I really think about it. Why wouldnt svpure been working back with Allied Assault or why woudnt the game be released with client side software already installed for matches and easy Admin support for security.

The S4R days were fun. I remember being a newb to this game and stuck in the MOHWest 3 or was it MOHEast 3? Anyway it was something like that. I had no idea what realism was all about or even heard of it. I only knew at the time that using a MG sucked and began sniping. I also only had a 56k modem back then and wasnt always fun. Still the game was intresting so I kept playing. After all that time with a Sniper rifle I guess thats why I can snipe ok today. Then came finding out about ASE cause I hated Gamespy. I was able to modify the search for servers. Somehow I ended up on the S4R servers and was amazed how people die so fast. After hearing people chat after a while and looking into the term Realism....I switched to a mg just to see if I could kill faster. WOW, I was having a blast with that and people were dropping like flies. The one thing I hated was when the 75th was on the server together. Not literally but they used to spawn kill the shit out of everyone including me. Here I was thinking "back to newb school again." As time goes on playing against them and knowing the maps well....progress starts to begin. I remember the chat messages people would tell them back then about spawn kiling and stuff. In all honesty I recall breaking a monitor over them cause I got so mad. Now here I am spawn killing and making people want stay on the other side of the map or better yet....making them refuse to play on the opposite team..lol....sure each one of us has witnessed it for themselves of course.

Ahh yes, the art of spawn killing. It is enjoyable. The ones who complain about it are the ones who refuse and try to get out of it. Any decent player can rid an area of spawn killers. But instead people would rather bitch and moan. This is my argument for the beauty of spawn killing.
