I kinda got some of the jokes, but I'm still on a 2.2 ghz zero-core machine so I'm kind of dumb regarding souped up specs these days. The 'performance' line was funny.

Wow, not bad. You'd want to swap out the GPU for a 8800GT, or the new 9600GT, but the rest of it looks great for that price.

theres only one slot for pci express so no sli with this board. and yes the video card is lacking. as for the rest it looks ok, depending on what kind of motherboard they use. i'd guess your overclocking abilities to be very minimal, but thats just my guess.

it's a gamble either way.
I would be a little concerned buying a refurb that comes with only a 90 warranty. This coming from someone who buys 80+% of my electronics sold as open box or refurbished. Everything I've bought like that always came with a full warranty. Even worse is Woot deals don't last, it's either buy right now or risk losing out. |

he bought it .thats what he was woried about. Nothing like new toys! My new Belkin n52te SpeedPad arrived today. Haven't had a chance to try it out, but I'm looking forward to the experience. I'm sure Cross is way ahead of me and got one before everyone else through one of his overly connected vendors. Any one else using one? |

........... Any one else using one? I'm so behind in pc advances lately, I'm just learning what 'dual core' means - something along the lines of if you don't have it, don't buy any games made in the last year........ -------------------- ![]() ![]() |
