It can't happen.....
No way could it turn out that way.....
What do you see? Hamma asks HF -half-chuckling
.......... in a ritual involving calculations of how many red smarties are in a box, HF predicts >>>>
Clinton finally concedes defeat within the month -and will take the job offered by Obama as potential VP.
It'll sting, but she has a legacy to consider -avoiding going down as an almost-ran, as well as in wanting to avoid an historical title as Dem.party splitter- she and billy-boy has created in the dem party by her overtly divisive campaign tactics/sleaze-plays.

Everybody seems to be talking about this as if she still has a chance. Nope. That chance left the station a couple of weeks ago. The reason she is clinging is simply because of money. She wants help paying off her debt. I laughed out loud when I saw one of the talking heads reveal that the Clinton campaign had sent out fundraising emails hours after the polls had closed Tuesday.

Hello! It is all about the money. If she quits today, she won't be able to raise any more money and then she'll be out millions from her own personal accounts. She'd rather stick around a few more weeks so the foolish supporters can continue to send her cash.

I do not believe that she would ever accept a VP position. If I were Harry Reid, I'd be cleaning up the office and getting ready to clear out to make room for the new Senate Majority Leader.

Hamma my son; it looks more n more likely she'll be VP [especially if she wins huge in West Virginia]. I don't see the Dems risking a loss vs.McCain due to dismissing Hillary's substantial non-deviating hardcore support who'll be either switching to vote for repubs, or not voting for Obama if she's left off the ticket. I'm pretty sure she'll take VP if offered - its her only way to show her mettle if she's thinking of 2012 as her last chance at her Holy Grail goal as Prez. Besides that, the Clinton machine would maul McCain to shreds once fully commited to training their sights on blasting McCain in the final stretch..... She'll be like an annoying talkative parrot on Obama's shoulder as VP most likely but perhaps there's no other way to pull the Dems together to run down the resurging Repubs. I think she's staying to build leverage for a few significant personal reasons.

Even more scary is the newest suggestion that he may offer Hilliary a seat on the Supreme Court if she drops out and offers her support to him.
I would rather see her as president for 8 years versus the damage she could as a supreme court justice for the next 20+ years

That seems like her/campaign using nasty leverage to convince Obama getting her on as VP is the lesser of 2 evil choices he'll have to make. tongue.gif
