I'm beyond sick of this. This was not racist. It was a cartoon depicting that anyone smarter than a monkey wouldn't have written the stimulus bill. Duh. More air time for the race nazis Mr. Jackson and Mr. Sharpton I guess. In my opinion Jesse has undone every bit of good he did with Martin Luther King. This just gets me going. If you look hard enough to be "disrespected" you'll find it. -------------------- ![]() Give a man a match and he's warm for a min. Set him on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life. |

I've said for years, one of the biggest problems facing America is Political Correctness.
This one is especially stupid because the people whining about it say it's in reference to Obama. I guess that means the PC clowns can't read. The carton says they will have to find someone else to right the next Stimulus Bill. So this was actually a reference to the stupid people in congress who wrote the bill, not Obama who signed it. Talk about false outrage. |

I'm going to have to dig up my "letter to the editor" of the Ohio State Lantern that I wrote back in the big bang of PC, the early '90's. At the time people were taking offense to everything and a portion of the black students were trying to get a new building built for them. An African Union. They decided they needed the biggest building since they were the "largest" minority. I love oxymorons. Anyway, there was a comic one day where an obvioius Italian character was named Guido. I wrote complaining that Guido was a derogatory name used against Italians. I claimed to be starting a new group on campus called Italians Need Equal Protection Too! I knew once I started INEPT all our problems would be solved. I actually had people I didn't know come up to me and thank me for writing the letter, including minorities (I have no idea how people knew who I was). Buck Rinehart, at the time mayor of Columbus, Ohio, once got into a snafu over Native Americans. His response at the time was something along the lines of, "just because I call them Indians doesn't change who they are", meaning it wasn't an insult. All he was trying to do was make a comment on Native Americans but used the term Indian instead. What should have mattered were all the other words he was saying, not the word Indian. -------------------- |

When Al Sharpton stops trying to buy drugs, then I'll take him seriously.

This gets better an better. Now one of the complaints is the cartoon was subliminal message that somebody should kill the President. They don't just want the guy who did the cartoon fire, some idiots are now talking jail because it was a veiled threat or suggestion to kill the president.
I wonder what these same people thought in 2006 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0853096/ A whole movie based on an investigative documentary examines the unsolved crime of the assassination of President Bush. If you look hard enough, you can always find the root cause of a problem. For example, why is Al Sharpton so mad at this cartoonist? Maybe it's because of another cartoon the same guy did ![]() |
