I'm Fubar, Introduce Myself Options

Hi. I am Fubar. I am a 42-year old history major from Dallas. WWII (European Theater) was my favortie group of classes.

I have played on the MOB sites since February 2003. I have not played much in the last 30 days (went from DSL to cable modem) and having connectivity issues. I can very seldom access the MOB sites. I usually get "server connection timed out" or something of that nature. Sometimes I get "server is full" when gamespy shows may on 10-12 out of 24 player slots taken.

Any help would be appreciated. I enjoyed playing on the MOB sites. I could usually hold my own and break even or come out slightly ahead. Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to try to get back to being able to use the MOB sites.

Hows it going Fubar. Glad to meet you. You might be behind a firewall and that may be keeping you from accessing the server. Those are just my two cents though.

I also have problems with Mob sites timing out through All-Seeing Eye,I just use MOHAA and enter IP address there and usually have no problem. Only have this problem since updating 3d card to an Asus from an Nividia this shouldn't have changed my connecting through ASE, but it has. So just use ASE or Gamespy to check if full then after it times out enter IP in Join Internet Game in MOHAA should get you in!

Actually for connecting to teh MOB servers I use the edited MOHAA icon that John posted on here. I couldn't find it on here any longer, but here's what to do:

Right click on your MOHAA icon, click on properties, you will see a file path that says "Target" then next to it you will see "F:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\MOHAA.exe". After that put in a space & copy this +set cl_playintro 0 +set ui_console 1 + connect 69.56.164.122.

So it should look like this next to the target:


"F:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\MOHAA.exe" +set cl_playintro 0 +set ui_console 1 + connect 69.56.164.122
