I'm assuming you guys have your ventrilo hosted on the same site as your stats? I'm trying to find out if this is the only way it can be done. Would appreciate any info you guys could give thanks.

The ventrilo stats script doesn't have to be hosted on the same machine as the ventrilo server. The only problem is the status.php file requires the use of an .exe file. Most web host will not allow you to execute .exe files for security reasons.
You may want to check with your host.

So if my host will allow the ventrilo_status.exe file then I'm good to go?

Yep.
Be sure to read the rventriloreadme.txt which comes with the status scripts.
It explains everything a lot better than the readme which comes with the ventrilo server program.
Reply back if you run into problems.

You can use the linux ventrilo_status packed with the linux ventrilo server program. You'll also need the PHP Ventrilo Status Scripts.
You can find them both on the ventrilo site.

Ok, here's the deal. I got it working on my machine in my house by setting up a web server and a Ventrilo server to test. Here's the link Although I don't know why or how to change the link that allows you to connect. Anywho, what I'd like to do is call the status from my server that is at my work server and have it appear on my webserver at home. Is this possible? I know this seems confusing but don't worry it all has it's purpose. smile.gif
