Ok all nead some help would like nto know if there is a way to check a vidio card . The reason why is that my father inlaw has a ti 4200 everything works ok but games tryed everything i could think of but nothing seams to work . Is there a program to cheack vid cards ....help please hate going over and not being able to play ..

Get him a ATI Readon 9600 or better. I buy a lot of ATI cards and have never had a problem.

However, if you are going over there the play on his computer it wont help your game any. lol hehe.

dam STONE just for that I'll put you back on top of the list LOL .... is see ati has there 9800xt out but to much cash in Canada will not pay that much for a vid card
...but thats just me

Has he updated the drivers for it recently? Is the directX updated to @ least 7 or 8? Usually it's just little shit like that.

You should check out what card you have... also read the minimum spec on the back of the box... I find that the best make of graphics cards are ATI - personally i have a radeon pro... you can get all sizes from 32mb to something stupid like 512!
The cache on your PC helps as well, see what amount of RAM you have, whether itd DDR or SDR etc, and also upgrade to DX9.0b:
