I tried to log into Goodfellas (through Missionary) this morning and it said my clan or team has been banned. Then it said "God". I tried this several times and even tried restarting my computer. Is my name (Bargod) a problem. What the hell is going on? I'm not a member of any clan or team. If I was to be associated with any clan or team it would be MOB, because that is where I play 99% of the time. Can anyone help me? I would hate to have to change my name. This is my name for just about everything. It may be obnoxious, but I've been Bargod for almost 10 years. (I'm a freakin' kickass bartender, I can't help it)

I tried to log onto a Sektion 8 server a few days ago and it said the same thing. I had played there before when I wasn't playing on MOB so I thought maybe they had a problem with MOB and knew that was where I usually played. Someone must of banned someone with the name god.
Normally we only ban by IP, the banning by name was probably a mistake. I'll look into it and fix the problem. You should be able to play in a little bit. -------------------- Not a word was spoken to contradict or disagree with S@bot when he called me a....

I took a look at the logs and couldn't find any sign of you being banned or why.
There is a chance this was a glitch in CI and was fixed when I restarted the program. Try logging onto the server and let me know if you still have problems. -------------------- Not a word was spoken to contradict or disagree with S@bot when he called me a....

i think a few clans have banned a player name GOD. i dont want to say which clan hes from but some may already know

I would assume several clan have their ban list setup to ban several versions of god because of teamgod. Same way the default banned name list with CI is already setup to ban anyone with the tag PM, for the Puremayhem players.6

Well, I tried again tonite and it still says that I'm banned. Is there anyway to make an exception for my name. I hate to be a pain in the ass, but this is the name I prefer to use. In the meantime I will be using the name SmootX. Thanks for for the help so far.

I don't want to be a pain in the a$$, but is it possible to specifically allow the name Bargod on Goodfellas? Any help is appreciated.
