why did you kick me? so you let that hoods guy decide how to rule your server?? i was in there for 3 maps before he came in and said anything to me, and as soon as he did you shifty and sabo started bothering me about missionary. i got it running finally yesterday and played in your server and it was cool. but i didnt have it on today and its not? i thought the server said it was missionary optional. why dont you kick all the other 20 ppl in there that dont use it? why me?? i dont get it. i use missionary sometimes and sometimes i dont. its a big hastle to start it up on my computer and search for a server that's good and then join and load. its much easier and quicker in gamespy and thats what i did. i was in gamespy and clicked on your server, i didnt think there would be problem because your server title even reads "missionary optional". so why is everything cool up until that hoods member says something to me. i did nothing in there before to warrant a kicking. he said it was sad that i didnt have it on and i took offense to that, he was taking a shot at me. i think its sad that i was treated this way in your server, like i was unwelcomed or something. i use missionary for crying out loud! juust not that time. i dont see why i have to use it everytime just because i have it installed. that makes no sense to me at all. i just didnt think that was very cool of you guys.

Sorry I couldn't explain better, but I had company show up and was trying to talk to both of u at the same time.

I believe it was Sabo that kicked you (wasn't me anyway) for not running missionary.

The reason we ask GOOD players to use it is so that we don't have to put up with noobies (and admittedly, some other good players) accusing everyone of cheating all the time, and also because for the lesser players out there to see that those people with good scores are clean.
Obviously there's no reason for useless players to use it, as its obvious that they're not cheating.

Yes I agree that missionary is a pain - especially with the wait while it loads up.
When I first played here I was never able to get in the server as it would always fill up before missionary loaded.
Druid has written a program that goes with missionary and will let you send a message to the server asking to make room for missionary user named _____

I apologise for the hassles that you got earlier, and hope that it hasn't caused you to not want to play on our servers.
I've always enjoyed gaming with/against you - you're one of the better players we have, and I'd hate for you to have to find somewhere else to play because of a misunderstanding like this.

I'm not trying to start anything, but maybe if you're going to play in Goodfellas, and you have Miss installed, you could use it. I don't use it when playing servers I find in Gamespy, but since I mostly play in Goodfellas I use it there. Of course, there are times when I've had trouble with Missionary, who hasn't. It's just better when we can all use Missionary.

It is my take that not all Mob players have Missionary or they would have to use it too wouldn't they? Reason is I see Mob members who are scoring high but not listed when the console displays the Missionary users. Now maybe there is something I am missing but this is what I am noticing. If this man got banned for the same thing, welll.... Console says "expect to be called a cheat if your not using missionary". Do we dare call a MOB member a cheat? I hope there is an explanation because I like this server, the forum and it's members although when I asked the question why MOB members don't use Missionary, I got a smartass remark. Something I did not expect for a simple question coming from a supposedly respected MOB member. All {MOB} members are required to use missionary no x-ceptions....What member are you talking about ? As you clearly see many {MOB} members rip off very high scores all the time and non members that come into goodfellas also are using / asked to support the missionary cause...As for the elite members of the mohaa community and everyone sees them in diff servers ...we r being banned at a sick rate.....This is why we offer to the newer people of the game a cheat free server to the best of our ability...I hate hearing so and so is hacking mean while the fucker has a shitty score anyways but they see a missionary user with good scores and its a rare occasion that we r called hacker....Yes it gets a little laggy from time to time but at least everyone around you knows u dont download ur skillz...support the cause

i think any MOB should have to use it. i thought they had to or get booted for using the tags and not running the program. i get booted often for not using missionary. (missionary is anti-mac, but i do use the cfg.)

All MOB MEMBER HAVE TO USE MISSIONARY OR THE CONSOLE WILL BOOT THEM!!! Our IP are on there to make sure that we use missionary if console detect my ip on there with no missionary, I'll get boot no question ask. Trust i try not using missionary to see if i get less and BOTTED in 1minute

Im not sure what defensive response you got but I do remember you asking a general question and I ignored it. Im not even sure your talking about me but I do know I didnt respond in a negative way. Here is the deal.
1.) CI automatically kicks any MOB member coming in the server who are not running Missionary.
2.) However; The recent Missionary updates have been causing people at random times to be un-verified for one or two maps then CI will re-verify them.
3.) When this happens we hope to let CI re-verify so we do not lose our stats, our spots, etc.
4.) If it runs over too long typically we will leave the server grudgingly and come back in.
5.) One thing I personally cannot stand is someone who has to beat around the bush when they encounter a problem or are afraid to confront a person. If MOB pisses you off, tell us. If you got a smart ass remark or had a problem with something, Tell Us Who You Are Talking About. We cannot address a problem if we do not know where to look or who to ask. As long as I am on this topic, If you suspect someone is cheating or hacking, simply saying hack or cheat is not enough, Call the person out or keep silent.

Nope not calling anyone a cheat or hack. Remember this is someone elses thread, not mine . I'm just coming to someone's defense for getting booted for not running missionary when it seemed that MOB members were playing without it, but it has been cleared up as I had hoped and suspected it would and willing to let it go. Whatta you say?
