Druid, and all of MOB--great servers, great sportsmanship.
Q to all: I'm hosting my own friendly server (not dedicated, though--but with a great following), and have seen other servers that disable sniper rifles, rockets, and health packs. I'd like to do this to add to my "tactical server". Any tips? Thanks again, everyone. Dismissed. -------------------- "I'm just a Cook"--- Steven Seagal, in the movie, Under Seige

Is this for a AA server or a Spearhead server? You can disable certian weapon on AA with a mod. I don't think you can disable health. You can find the weapons mod to disable different weapons at www.alliedassault.com -------------------- Not a word was spoken to contradict or disagree with S@bot when he called me a....
bully, dictator, snide, hypocrite, arrogant, smartass and lets not forget, according to him the way I act is reprehensible. Yet, you're going to censor my signature because it's inappropriate and might hurt his little feelings??? Sorry. don't think so QUOTE Druid had my admiration and even though he has always come across as an arrogant, snide and very many times a smartass in posts and pm's S@bot aka Little Silver |

Thanks, Druid--I'll get the weapons mod fror alliedassault.com
I played a server for about FOUR hours [8th Div Marines]--now disbanded--and we stayed on Algiers for around four hours, walking ONLY (of course, set walk and run=150 in console), BUT--when you killed your enemies, NO health pack would appear! Once your own health went down, you were SOL! It added to the reality and made the game tougher, since you couldn't replenish your own health without dying! Once I find the solution, I'll post it here! Thank again. -------------------- "I'm just a Cook"--- Steven Seagal, in the movie, Under Seige

There is an option in Spearhead to disable healthpacks, as well as adjust the healing time. This is one of the many extra settings in Spearhead that are NOT available in the first game. These things by the way can be set in the server.cfg file and are very easy to adjust. In addition, you can set them to work with a call vote script so people can vote ye/no to them ingame.
As for the weapon changes I think Druid answered that but in case you have more questions just ask. This is FK btw and I am on Clans machine...... peace.... FK of MOB -------------------- ![]() aww yeah |

Gentlemen,
Thanks for your help. Found the weapons mods, no prob. I've posted this same "Disable Health Packs" question on the Forum at mohadmin.com as well. Sure we'll get the answer soon. -------------------- "I'm just a Cook"--- Steven Seagal, in the movie, Under Seige
