If we're talking about the same Lavasoft, I use AdAware spyware remover. Free and pretty good. But the best spyware remover in my opinion is Spy Sweeper made by Webroot. Although free to use for 30 days, simply uninstall it and remove the files and reinstall with a fresh one and your good to go with new updates for another 30.
