holy shit. last night on the discovery channel they were doing a special on that and they showed the water rushing out to sea before it hit. thats scary all in its self.

the thing i hear was, like after the water came to shore it washed back out to sea. Then, people came out to see the destruction. Not knowing that the water was coming back in becuase it was like some kind of effect when the water comes in, it suckes out to sea then goes back in. So, the people that were out getting whatever was left got hit again. Thats why the death toll his so high.
