The shotgun, what do u think Options

maybe people have different opinions with the shotgun, some say its a n00b cannon that sux, others say its actually a good gun if u know how to use it. With there being less and less shotty players on goodfellas do u think its worth being peobably the only guy on the server to use it? Basically does it have a reason to exist

only shotty ive played where i felt they had the shottie balanced right is classic. in classic the shotty is a pretty potent weapon. in ckr or other mods they have toned the range and damage so much its really only a viable weapon at very close range. u literally have to ambush everyone of ur oppenents with it to have anytype of success with it. ill bust out a ckr or other shottie when i feel like blasting peeps up close but other than that its a pretty one dimensional weapon.

close combat weapon. a shotgun really isnt a long range weapon 0-50 yards is about it. (for a good kill) also depends on ammo. bb shot dont travel far at all were 00 buck can go a lil further.

I hate the shot gun more than snipers and campers. It makes me want to reach thru the computer and throttle people. It is fairly effective when running and gunning on stali, but just annoying on the open maps.
