Barbarossa Server issues, Rampant TKing and lack of control Options

Guys,

Some of you may have seen myself or some of my folks playing on your server for the last couple of weeks. We love the map. But lately, you have been getting some serious jerks playing on your server who:

1. like to run thier own teammates over with vehicles

2. toss satchel charges at thier teammates and switch teams so that when it goes off, it kills the former teammate. THEN switch back and try it again.

3. Pop smoke on you when you are defending outside a base so that you can't see the opposing team's people coming at you.

I run a server, I know its difficult to maintain some rules and control...but you have to try. I've informed Rawdeal a few times about some of the issues which in one or 2 cases he actually did something. This last time however, on June 4, he did not. In fact, moments after informing him of the idiotic behavior, he no longer was on the server for whatever reason. If necessary, you need to change your serverconfig to prevent these fools from being able to TK by satchel charges and switching teams, you also need to change the settings for being able to be run over by vehicles IMHO. Its going to drive people away from your server if you do nothing to correct the situation.

Sorry for complaining...its not what I normally like to do...but I really like playing on your server and would only like to see it get better.

We are working on this issue and have already banned several players. This is not a server issue, it's a COD issue. FF is off, however the setting does not affect vehicle TK's.

We are working on customizing the script and should have this done soon.

but starting yesterday, me, ghost and ern accidently killed each other a few times by running each other over

If you see myself or Silver on please inform us immediately. Or, any other MOB member. I understand that you say RD left when you had a complaint, and this happens, but seeing as this is one of the most popular MOB servers at the moment, we try to run it as best we can. If you see repeat offenders, please post here and if needed, post screen shots. We will do our best to keep this server fun. It is currently my favorite place to play, but I can't always be there, I do have a life. But if you post problem players we will keep an eye out for them in the future.

You guys that say this TK thing only just started are on some serious drugs Drop by another base assault server and see what happens. Same thing. (With the exception of the After-Hours server)

I have been researching this problem for over a month now. It is a problem. There apparently is a script that can be modified to correct it. We're just trying to figure out the right way to do it.

Ok, ok. You were all right and I was wrong!

I installed a mod to display console messages. This mod screwed with the vehicle Friendly Fire settings. All will be fixed on next server reboot.
