thanks for explaining the differences gomer
 i went out and bought this one because my comp doesnt have a PCI express slot in it Just a Standard PCI. Its the best one best buy had that was in my price range ill probably install it today and ill post how much better it is. I'm imagining that it will blow my current vid card (which is a Nvidia GeForce MX 440 64MB, and this one is a 256MB DDR). -------------------- lawlerberries on my rofflewaffles |

good luck with it. you should have gotten a agp card but the pci will work just fine

dont have an AGP slot.. so buying an AGP would render useless.

dude i JUST got my comp upgraded atima...

I suggest you go with a Radeon X800. I got one a few weeks ago and Ive never been happier. Excellent frame rate, resolution, and it stays quite cool. Haven't had a problem with the temp yet and don't expect to have any at all. I used to have a GeForce 6800GT but it always got too hot and it eventually got fried, but thats just me, maybe not everyone else. Hope this helps.

Shame that you don't have an AGP slot. I cam across this one today.
