Anyone watch Ultimate Fighting? Who will win tonight? Liddell or Sobral? How about between Forest Griffen and Stephan Bonnar? Any thoughts?

I give Liddell the nod. He is overall a bit of a better fighter I think. His boxing skills, while not wonderful, are better than Sobral. On the ground it's probably anybody's game.

Griffin has got some of the best raw talent I have ever seen in the octagon. I sense that he doesnt train all that hard though. Is he developing his ground game and striking? Bonnar is simply an average overall talent with an incredible amount of heart that carries him to wins. This match is simply Griffins to lose either in the ring or in his training.

OMG....I can't believe I read this today. I stayed up last night watching it and fell asleep before the final match with my hero Chuck. I had to get up at 5:00 am for work and called Dave...only to find out if he saw the final. He fell asleep too...LOL

Now I have to go channel surfing to see if I can find a replay.

That is the best show in the world....real warriors.

You missed two AWESOME fights! Forrest and Stephan was a WAR like he last one. Not quite as good but still great. Forrest picked him apart for the most part using great stand up. He looked relaxed and Stephan looked frustrated. After the match Joe questioned Forrest about a possible title fight and if he'd be ready. Forrest gave a little bit of comic relief and said when I stop (he motioned) ducking and swinging wildly. Stephan caught Forrest a few times and arguably could have been given the second round. They both had cuts and damage was close to equal but Forrest controled the whole fight. The Judges gave it to Forest all 30-27.

Chuck dismantled Babaloo in 90 seconds. Babaloo rushed Chuck wildly and Chuck circled left, dodged a looping punch, threw a right that stuned Babaloo, and then an uppercut that knocked him (I think out) to his face/knees. Chuck rushed him and started pounding finishing the match. He had to circle around Babaloo a couple times trying to get it but Big Jon stopped it. It was hilarious though cuz Babaloo grabbed Big John around the leg and started trying to wrestle him to the ground. He had no clue who, where, or why he was fighting. Great event. Well worth the money. If they continue to have these type matches boxing is history. Probly is anyway. I can't wait to see Chuck fight Silva. I hope he comes out of it alive. Silva is a mad man. They anounced that Tito and Shamrock are fighting again. Who knows why but they are. Shamrock hasnt won a fight in the Octagon in about a decade. Anywho, it was great. Hope you get to catch a replay.

I can't read your post yet Genocide....don't want to ruin the ending. Yesterday, I started work at 06:30 hours and didn't get home till 22:00 hours....very long day.

After turning on the TV, I find the ending to UFC 62- but don't want to watch it beacuse it's the ending to Chuck winning..need to see the whole fight. Notice that it starts again at 23:00 hours. Get it all set up, Dave is all excited. Next thing you know I wake up and it's 7:00 am.....dang..missed it again.

Hopefully I can watach it tonight. My day off.
