I am looking to slightly improve on my video card, money is tight.. stupid baby....
However I was looking for some opinions.
I am looking right now at a few different cards, and wanted to know if you guy's
can give me some insight about which I should choose.

This is what I am looking at right now... any other suggestions would be appreciated

-GeForce4 MX440 se 128mb
-GeForce FX5200 128mb
-GeForce4 Ti 4200 128mb
-ATI Radeon 9100 128MB
-ATI Radeon 9000 128MB

So which is better than which???
I know very little about video cards, so clock speeds and memory bandwidth mean
crap all to me.
They are all comparable in price within about $70.
So which is it guy's?

this is best to worst

GeForce FX5200 128mb
GeForce4 Ti 4200 128mb
ATI Radeon 9100 128MB
ATI Radeon 9000 128MB
GeForce4 MX440 se 128mb

how much is the FX going to cost you might want to look at the ATI 9700 if you can afford it

Here is the BIG LIST from best to worst. http://users.erols.com/chare/video.htm I run the ATI Radeon 8500 128 meg. I got it on Tiger Direct for $99. It was a steal becuase this card is very good for the money. Cobra gave me the heads up on this one. Thats what me and Cold_beer run.

Cheers

9700 Pro ?!?!?!? I am not a rich man right now... it is running around $449 CAD
where as the rest are $134 - $219
I would love to get my greedy little hands on the 9700 PRO but that isn't going to happen in the near future

Oddly enough the GeForce FX5200 is only $170 and it was the one that I had originally picked out, but I thought I would get some feedback from the folks who have been running these ones.

Anybody else have any comments on the FX 5200?
