Hi, has any one tried this game, battlefield 2142. I was thinking of getting it but depends on feed back.

I saw it at Target last week for $20, but I haven't tried it. Is there a demo?

Yup, I played the demo, I liked it! I'll be getting it soon, Computer first, then BF2142.

Just a heads up, if i'm not mistaken i heard there was embedded spyware in the game. I also heard that since it's really good, most people dont care.

I have 2142. It's fun for like the first week of having it, but it gets old fast. BF2 is alot better. Also the thing about the spyware: EA only collects your IP address to know where your at in the world and gives you in game advertisements. No they're not pop-ups, but in-map billboards.
Overall its a pretty good game but i much prefer COD2  .--------------------    |

yup i dont care much 4 cod2 or bf but if you have ever playd the bf games im sure this one will be somewhat the same i just cant get into laser beams space ships and ewoks
