Played an entire map rotation tonight on the new gfm server, with Somehelp, Gereau, Crossofiron, Flatliner and Crazycanuck.. I think it was a very god mix of maps and a few new ones that I have never seen before. Everything was ok but one thing, I could wish for the players to move a little faster..It also seemed like people had problems with dowloading some of the bigger maps....... would be a lot more fun with maybe 10 people on each team.

Over all I had a great time.... thx

I too liked this rotation. There was a map on there from the final scene of Saving Private Ryan. The same one with the bell tower from my sig, lol.

OH yeah,
I was there for about 11 seconds... I swung the shovel, and then "wes" snuck up on me while I was changing my son's diaper... So yeah, I was there.. It looks great!

Very well done!! If you could add a voting system to choose maybe, game mode like CTF or Domination, this will seriously rock! Nice maps, nice realism, had lots of fun tonight.....

I think it is: 8.9.4.82:28961 (not :28960)

Funny how we got this on our server.
Rommel posted about getting the map [Frontline] to our server and in his post he added ss from the wrong web site with the German Front instead of the map [Frontline]. Anyway, the German Front Mod is very nice with great graphics and several maps. And the thing with dividing teams into different special units, add a new dimension to the game play. And the knife and shovel is cool for sure!

Well now I must insist that Rommel stay on the new MOB German Front Server 24 hours a day as punishment! wink.gif

Anyway, it was an interesting challenge to get the GFM MOD installed. Give it a week or two. If it does not become popular, I'll remove it.

Oh yeah, I enabled the vote option.

Yes i will try, but my problem is that i have high ping 999. I dont know why, but i have tthe same problem when i try to play Broadsword.

Rommel Try changing your Connection type in Multiplayer options....It might not be what you have..and that sometimes causes lag.

I can't wait to play the GFM mod. I played it a lot in a prior version. I hope we get the traction to keep it up. The shovel is great and squad roles are nice additions that keep it interesting.
