Just curious to know if anyone else has ran into this issue. It used to be fine to use firefox on the MOB home page. Then all of a sudden the options on the left (i.e. server info, forums, stats) disappeared as well as the header. It happened a month or so ago. Using internet explorer is fine, all options are there. I've cleared cookies, cache and have gone through other options with no luck. I've included a screen shot.

Thanks!

Dan

It shows up on my copy of Firefox when I load up the main page... I dunno what's up with your copy!

Official Diagnosis: Just reload the page in your banks. That means that you need to delete ALL temp files/cookies, then reload the page. Other than that, take 2 aspirin and call me in the morning... xD

Hi Dano

I had firefox on my comp. But boy did it ever give me a fit. I deleted that sucker right now and have had no trouble since." Knock on wood".

See if reinstalling Firefox helps..... maybe an older version first.

I should mention the cleaning programs that I use. I use spybot S&D, Ad aware, and have Norton anti-virus. I also use CCleaner (crap cleaner) that cleans up temp files, cookies, etc (Might I add that CCleaner is a great app found on downloads.com) I have the same apps on the laptop and have no firefox issues. Running both the same versions on desktop and notebook.

I have uninstalled, and reinstalled firefox though Hellfighter. No luck!

Guess I should take aspirins, LOL

The same thing happened to me when I ran a registry cleaner. You have to be careful (as I've found ) what files you remove when the cleaner comes up with the huge list of files and programs.

If you ran a reg. cleaner, restore all the files you removed, I bet that will bring the home page back to its original content.

Yes, I've learned this as well. Always look to before I clean. But, I've been running all these programs long before this problem surfaced. As mentioned I run the same exact cleaning Apps on the laptop with the same OS (XP Pro) Just weird I tell ya. Wouldn't uninstalling and reinstalling firefox put anything that might have been deleted back?

It's no big deal I guess. Just have to use Internet explorer. Not a big fan of I/E... Ohhh well....

DOH! doh.gif

Thanks for trying though gang.

When you uninstalled it did you use add/remove programs in XP...? if so you should then do a manual check to see that remaining 'orphan' Firefox files were deleted too ie,search tool. I'd then reinstall an older version of firefox-and upgrade that later after you restart computer. Try online scanner 'Panda' too. maybe norton's missed something.
