This reminds me of what I've seen about when scientists first triggered a nuclear explosion. They had bets on if it would consume the atmosphere and kill us all. It is scary to think about that they are creating something so powerful that they really have only theories as to what it will do. This could be the breakthrough needed for extreme space travel, time travel, or any manor of crazy things we think impossible now. Should be interesting to see what happens anyway.

I remember seeing a story about the building of the collided when the show "Modern Marvels" did a piece on it.
It was pretty interesting. |
