Wow ,i am blown away! here you have a guy who gets caught red handed using steroids and has the chance to do exactly what Giambi and Petite did -come clean and you can play. what does he do? Lies-unbelievable!

The substance he came up positive with ,he said his cousin was injecting him from the DR. a doctor from the Dominican made it clear they did not have that substance available over the counter or prescription in the years he was supposedly taking them.turns out his personal assistant was a known steroid distributor and is banned from every club house in MLB . he travels with Aroid to this day .

who hasn't this guy lied too? Cheating on his wife,steroids,next well read hes laundering money to the Mexican cartels with Stanford,lol. He had a chance to come clean and he didn't . Jay gibbons came under fire for pretty much the same thing and was suspended and basically cost him his career.i guess if your a Bankee you can get away with this kinda stuff.

I think this is completely a media driven issue. Nobody really cares except for self righteous writers who vote on the hall of fame. There were so many factors in players using these that it's not just as simple as he's a bad bad man. He's no worse than Phil Neikro who did everything imaginable to the ball, Mike Schmidt who used greenies, or any number of other players who during the current period used roids. There wasn't even a rule against it and now they want to crucify these guys for it. While the guys in the NFL barely make the news. I agree that baseball should do more to clean itself up but let it go already. It was a huge part of the game and I think at least half the guys were using. Let go of it already.

Geno, first off the NFL is a lot tuff than MLB has been. Hell the new Commish has a no fuck up policy to try to clean up the game. Here we have all the steroid era ,those have come out and accepted .he had the chance and still lied-he deserves the raping hes gonna get and i promise hes got a 50 game suspension coming.

i watch baseball ,i looove baseball but i can say not many people do these days because of this very issue.Well coming from a true fan i am happy with the the last 2 years of baseball. i do have to make you think of this- HE CHEATED- all those young kids who got called up coulve had a chance,imagine the pitchers hes face-cheated. Imagine being a young kid in THAT club house this season-cheated .

NFL also has a cap on the money a player can make.aroid makes the highest of any player.little kids somewhere choose him as their hero.
