Are you talking about the interview with the "Mad Money" guy? I love The Daily Show, and Jon Steweart, but I get upset when he does "real" interviews because they are "fake" news and promote themselves as "fake"news. I would love for him to have a seperate show where he does hard hitting things, but I get pissed when they play "we are fake news, just comedy, and then he lays into a guy more hard hitting than the guy has gotten anywhere else". Now, to be clear, I usually appreciate the fact that somebody is asking these questions, it's just that I think the Daily Show is the wrong place. I love seeing people that deserve it get the tough questions, but the Daily Show is the wrong format. If Jon Stewart wants to ask tough questions (a show I'd watch) then he needs to get that show. The Daily Show is for light entertainment. Make fun of the people in power in very lighthearted ways, please. I need a laugh before bed. DANCE FOR ME, MONKEY!!! -------------------- |

Well i liked the show last night with the "Mad Money Guy" because he got grilled and Jon Stewart said a lot of things i haven't heard one person in the Media or government say , one of which -"wheres the indictments?" . he got grilled because he publicly made fun of the Daily show ,which he has a point, the show is a joke or supposed to be.I do agree with you Bar ,either be funny and fake or do something real.I just thought the issues brought up in last nights interview needed to come out ,too bad no one on a national level had the balls.

Nice link.
Loved this part "He questioned whether it was "selling snake oil as vitamin tonic" in a way that was "disingenuous at best and criminal at worse." I'll have to grab a copy of the show off the web tonight. |

I was impressed . His quote to FOX ,CNN and CNBC about getting their act together and reporting the news the right way so" i can get back to fart jokes" is classic!
