Is it possible for someone to send you a virus while gaming?
Was forced to play another server today(needed a fix) while playing I was camping on destroyed village map and ran out of ammo and typed in "shit out of ammo"a few guys had comments bout me camping then few seconds later puter froze solid.I had to power off to get it going on re-boot my command anti-virus detected "W32/Dumaro.A@mm" infection in patch.exe file???? Any Ideas?  P.S. we all need to use #2 when #1 is full so I don t have to go elsewhere to get a good server!! --------------------  |

Excellent point. If people would just go there for a couple of minutes the server would start to fill up. I highly encourage people to start going to #2 when #1 is full. As for the virus bit, I don't think that is possible. Perhaps your anti-virus would have caught it on the next reboot anyway. --------------------  |

I'm not 100% sure about this, but don't some of the trojan horses in infected computers scan for open ports.

any time you leave your personal network and go out side your fire wall you are also open to the net as there will be a port open but it is highly unlikly that anybody would send ya a virus while you are gamming
