 server stats, what program? |

just wondering what program you use to monitor server stats, as I want to get something like that implemented with our clan.
Also, how do you transfer that data to your web page? I assume you can set it up to do so automatically? Or does Druid sit there and do nothing but type in stats all day?  --------------------  |

We use Mohstats, you can find it here.
http://stats.clanfx.com/ The actual stats are host on the same machine as our game server. If you have a dedicated box you can setup a batchfile to close the server and run the stats program at a set time each day. If you rent your server from a Game Server Provider, it will be a little more involved. 1) shut the server down 2) copy the log to your computer 3) restart the server 4) run the stats program 5) Upload the output from the stats program to your webhost. You would also need to install PHP on your system because the stats program is PHP based. I know this sounds like a lot of work but it would only take 15 minutes or so each day. If you do rent from a Game server provider and don't want to mess with all the extra work you have another option. We are currently looking to rent a MOHAA server, it would come with 1) A free Teamspeak server same size as the MOHAA server. 2) Web Access to start and stop the server 3) FTP access 4) Web stats 5) In-game stats I know I can rent a server cheaper than what a Game Host can, Email me if you're interested. -------------------- Not a word was spoken to contradict or disagree with S@bot when he called me a....

I read this thread but wanted to point out that the cool guys from DMG have much better servers and are alot nicer then Druid is. Their servers are hosted by a good company. Druid....do you still sacrifice small animals in your paganositic rituals to try to quell your false gods bloodthirst? ashe from DMG doesnt do this.
