MOHAA doing Crazy Things, After Loading Spearhead Options

My MOHAA players went crazy after loading Spearhead. All the butt scooting that was happening in SH is now happening in MOHAA and the players are all jerking around and appear to be half in the ground. I've done a complete un install and new install. MOHAA cleared up and ran perfectly until I re installed SH and now I have the same problems. MOHAA is almost unplayable...I have all the patches, no goofy skins. Any ideas guys??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the SH files on the disk are corrupted. Is the CD a store purchased copy or a burned copy?

Store Bought and I have a second one for the upstairs computer that my son uses and I've tried both. The players almost look like that " cheat" where they are half out of the ground, if that makes any sense.

I had the same problems when I first played Spearhead. The only thing I can think that I did was to remove my blood mod (got rid of the white squares) and I screwed around with the multiplayer "filters" and never had the problem again.

I didnt have any probs with SH either until they patched it. Have you downloaded any patches for it? If you have make sure its the US version if your in US. I also know there were a few conflicting files with blood patches and custom maps, you might try moving them to a separate folder for the time being...Make sure to upgrade your MOHAA to 1.11 before you install Spearhead...I know that once i downloaded the patch and tried to play on a server before most of them upgraded to the patch that my game was screwed up like you said, people looking like they leaning back and forth violently all the time and landsharking all the time. I reinstalled it 4 times and patched it. Eventually it worked.

Ever since I updated to 2.11 my leg gets stuck and I cant jump or duck, the 5 key often does not select a grenade or it puts one in my hand even when Im out. Sometimes Ill hit 5 for grenade (in a hurry) and it simply holsters and pulls out my main weapon again...very irritating! I play on #2 and 2a whenever I can squeeze in, love the rifle mods and realism. Keep up the good work. -=peace=-

funny you say that...I too sometimes get "my legs stuck"... I thought it was my keyboard going bad, but after I die it seems to be fine...strange

Thanks everyone. I ended up copying my MOHAA Files into a new directory and renamed it and loaded Spearhead to that directory. Everything in both games is currently running fine. I wrote EA twice and they asked for more info. I sent that info and never heard from them again....ain't it the way....LOL!!!

re: leg stuck...I was told and it seems true that if you try to jump over something (usually one where u have to hit spacebar twice) and dont make it thats when it happens. Ive seen lots o guys sliding around on one leg with the other stuck in the air as if climbing invisible stairs. Its a real disadvantage coz if u cant jump or duck ya get yer butt shot off. Is any1 else having trouble with the grenade hotkey? Mine works only 50% of the time, the rest it either gives me the same gun I was already using or gives me a dummy grenade I cant even throw rather than switching to smoke grenades. Im too lazy to do much adjusting with the game but I may try dixies plan. ANyhoo gl hf, cya on the servers.

I just use the weel from the mouse to select nades!

I use the mouse in my left it works fine for me!!!
