Who runs all of the MOB servers.... I rarely get any lag and know a clan in need of a trustworthy server host.

As an addendum make sure you know which game you want to run. If you are looking for MOHAA there are several good low cost companies out there now (Ilan, Xgameservers). If you want to run Spearhead be prepared to spend the money. It is an enormous CPU hog and you will need to spend twice as much to get the same performance as the regualr game.

yea I notice where as in MOHAA 66 is an awesome ping but 66 is about 100 on spearhead.

Why is Spearhead so bandwith consuming?

Well i am no expert on the subject, nor can I explain logically what happens but I have plenty of first hand experience and will tell you that Spearhead is PROCESSOR intensive and that is what is at the heart of the problems. My dedicated server will run at 60 to 95% processor usilization with just one 20 player server running. Compare that with 20 to 40% for MOHAA. in addition, certain maps will spike the processor to almost 100% constantly and are a real problem. What happens when the processor is over utilized is the clients "starve" and the bad packets increase. This causes the pings of all players to suddenly double, and sometimes triple. I can't tell you why this is but it is a fact of the game and none of the patches have done anything to improve it.
