The 1st place I went after I installed COD2 was our server but it was empty, so I ran around for awhile exploring. I can't critique the server or make suggestions until the server picks up.

It has been full most of today (Monday)..plays well. May want to find a way to limit high ping players..lots of 150-230 pingers on it

I would suggest putting some more of the COD2 exclusive maps into the rotation... I don't know how other people feel but I do not want to play recycled COD tdm maps in Cod2. A few are alright sometimes like that st. mere eglise one (basically a remake of Dawnville).

I agree with Saucer. I took smoke out, it was just getting to be a pain in the ass. It is sooo much more smoke than in UO. And once one person throws it, everyone does and then you can't see anything the rest of the round.

IMO Dawnville/Carentan... maybe a poll should be put up or something because other people might like these maps in the new engine... but personally I'd rather stick to the new ones.

Wish people would use smoke realistically. Use smoke for cover to cross a street full of enemies and sometimes u really can't see smile.gif But i can see y u'd hate that.

K I have had a couple of threads with very little {MOB} feedback regarding adding new single player ported to multiplayer maps onto our COD2 server and suggested adding perhaps a CTF server as well posted in the COD2 server suggestions forums.

Our Smolensk server is dead so why not at least try a new COD2 server and advertise it on our COD2 normal server.

Maybe start our with a couple of new maps on the stock and from there. I usually play other servers running CTF as I like the challenge instead of just TDM, it really is TDM with a twist biggrin.gif
No more than 20 people on a CTF server though!!

When you add a favorite to the server list, you need to switch the source to internet & then back to favorite & refresh. should show up then.
