Sorry for my ignorance but what is a IED and KIA i know that Kia is a kind of car!!???

IED = Improvised Exploding Device which has come to mean those somewhat 'non-conventional' Roadside bombs, boobytraps you see blowing up to varying degrees in your video-> from 'tiny' to enormous.
