Which sever would you rather? Options

Hey Slim, I didn't mean to offend. I was simply trying to echo Scrap's point that consistent donations gives us the confidence to add more servers. I was just trying to point out that MOB has to ensure their financial viability. Adding servers, or changing out poor performing ones is a delicate balance. We've all seen lots of popular servers go dead for the smallest reasons ... can you say Smolensk? Majority does rule, but the financial balance sheet has the final say. If we can afford new servers, we'll add them.

None taken. But once again this has nothing to do with adding servers, and whether or not we can afford another one.

And as for majority rule - I thought you received a clear message, Lipton was the only one who supported your idea of a rifle-only server with Shadow suggesting COD2. The server you wanted to change was the 74, correct? It is now hosting Scrapyard's map and is rocking all the time. Seems like the majority is speaking loud and clear on that point. How is that "straight up bullshit?"

Again this is not about me being pissed that I never got a rifles only server. Really I don't care. If I wanna play a rifles only that bad, I would go play on another server. The thing is I don't understand is who made the decision to change the server? That is what is bullshit. I guess there was no point to this whole topic, because whoever it was went ahead and change the server to Scrapyard's server anyway.

A little something from Scrapyard himself:

Wish my test server didn't have lag issues (downside of using a cheap host like EscapedTurkey).... or I'd offer that up for a rifles-only TDM server or as a COD2 server. With the lag issues that we encountered last week, the last thing I want to do is drive more traffic to it.

From what I see from the topic there was not that many people screaming out wanting the server to be change to Bob's map. What happened to the Cod2 server? The new patch is out? What I really don't get is how the decision was made to change severs? It doesn't make sense to me. But apparently the "majority" of people in the topic, wanted to change the server to Bob's map.. I don't know maybe i'm missing a few pages of the thread.

Like I said before, the way that the server was change was bullshit. It should have been handle differently. I did't see anywhere in the topic everyone agreeing on changing the server. SomeONE made a decision, to change it. Like I said it should a marjority... I did't see a vote or anything, so that people can discuss whether or not they want Bob's map, like I did for the rifles. (Nothing against Bob or his map.)

Anyway i'm just confused on how all this came to be.

But whatever the server is rocking now... so I guess it can't be bullshit.
