Howdy,

I was reading about mods to servers and somthing about editting scripts to make the skills of the weapons different.. what does this mean. Could someone edit a script and change how they react to a map, like run faster, or jump higher, or even shoot straighter? would PB even find these script changes? I remember we had to load somting called greasegun or something to get into barb one time (i think) and it messed up my other games, is that an edit of a script? Now that i am getting into the game more i am even more curious of the intricacies.....

undead smells...

LOL

It's pretty easy to change weapon characteristics. It's all just a changing the weight in the value of the target path. You can change velocity, rate of fire, accuracy, how many rounds or bullets, etc. You can change the ammo type... that's always fun. Giving a sniper rifle tank killer rounds is a blast. I made an early weapons mod when UO first came out... all weapons stayed stock except I just amped up the hit damage so you didn't have to chase people around while shooting at them. biggrin.gif
