i was playing on my friends alienware on UO today and i was doing ALOT better than i usually do on my
laggy shit laptop. i have come to conclusion that i really am good, its just the constant lag on my laptop is holding me back from constantly getting good scores. SOOO.......hopefully in the next couple of months i'm going to save up and get more RAM so it runs perfect! (sorry if this is useless information that you could care less about  )--------------------  thank you onyx for the best sig ever made |

ummmm, it sounds like you have a bad stick of ram. The fact that yours and his are different should tell you something. You will never get the true 512 ram, but I think the numbers should at least match.
I run a gig of corsair duel channel factory sinked ram, but it does not show the complete potential. Hope that helps. |

Hope that helps. It could be using part of RAM as video RAM (shared video memory). Common on the cheaper motherboards with integrated video. When RAM fails, it generally fails the entire stick (so you go from 512 to 256, etc.). --------------------   |
