dudes,
My brother in law and i want to play 1 on 1, and every time I try and start my own server, he cannot find it and vice versa. bottom line, how can we get into our own one vs one match without having to join some empty server... I dont want suggestions on servers to get onto, or anything like that, just really curious on how to basically link up. any technical suggestions? You have to make sure your firewall allows traffic on port 28960. I can tell you how to do this on a Mac ... but, if you are running Windows, this link gives you a wealth of information for configuring different devices. Just scroll down to Call of Duty United Offensive.
